Consultant – Senior SAP Master Data

Location: United States (Remote)

Employment Type: Contractor

Minimum Experience: Senior Manager / Supervisor

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP Customer, Vendor, and/or Material Master Data.
• Knowledge of integration with organizational settings (e.g., company code, sales organization, purchasing organization, etc.).
• Understanding of integration points with transactional processes.
• Familiarity with business and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate master data maintenance.
• Ability to periodically analyze and audit master records (e.g., quarterly reviews).
• Experience with workflow design or utilization is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and document master data requirements tailored to specific customers or projects.
• Identify gaps between business processes and system configurations; collaborate with IT functional and technical teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support break/fix testing activities as needed.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on current requirements.
• Create, modify, update, or mark master data records for deletion as per defined business requirements.
