Role Overview
As a Managed Services Consultant, you will collaborate with a team of problem solvers to address complex business challenges from strategy through execution. The role requires strong expertise in consulting, designing, implementing, and leading engagements within the SAP Finance suite.
Required Education, Certifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in SAP Finance, including S/4HANA Finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
Core Skills & Expertise
- Professional accounting background (CPA, CA, CMA) preferred
- In-depth knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury
- Strong experience in Asset Accounting and Project Systems
- Proficiency in Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis
- Solid knowledge of FICO integration with MM, SD, and PP
- Ability to work independently and lead teams of consultants in client engagements
- Experience in custom reports, Report Painter, and WRICEF objects
- Knowledge of user authorization concepts and SoD requirements
- Familiarity with data migration tools such as LSMW and BDC recording
Preferred Education, Certifications & Experience
- S/4 HANA Finance (On-Premise/Cloud) Certification
- Experience with S/4 HANA Finance and Central Finance
- Exposure to BI, RPA, and AI tools
- Working knowledge of ABAP Debugging
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements, define as-is/to-be processes, and implement configuration changes
- Perform unit testing and manage data conversion activities
- Configure CO-PA profiles, global banking settings, lockbox parameters, and posting data
- Map business processes to ERP solutions and configure activity types in CO-PC
- Review technical/functional design documents for completeness
- Develop BDC programs for depreciation uploads, certificate profile assignments, and other automation needs
- Configure vendor master, down payments, open item clearing, PCA planning, and FI submodules
- Create reports using SQL Server/Crystal Reports
- Analyze and resolve inconsistencies in FI/CO and related modules
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and support existing processes
- Lead FI/CO module optimization, including FSCM and workflow integration
- Support project closing activities and custom reporting per client requirements
- Mentor team members and delegate tasks to develop capabilities
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards

- Led 3–4 projects independently
- Contributed to 7+ full-cycle implementations
