Job Description

An Administration Engineer for a software solution like Pricefx would typically focus on ensuring the proper setup, maintenance, and optimization of the platform to align with the organization's needs. As an intern in this role, one would gain foundational knowledge in software administration and learn how to manage and troubleshoot platform-specific issues. 


  • Platform Setup: Aid in the initial setup and deployment of the Pricefx solution for new clients or projects. This could include user setup, permission structures, and module activation. 

  • Platform Maintenance: Monitor the performance of the platform, ensuring it operates optimally and addressing any issues that may arise. 

  • User Management: Add, modify, or remove users based on company needs. Ensure the correct permissions are assigned to each user role. 

  • Integration Oversight: Support the integration of Pricefx with other tools and systems used by the company. This may include CRM systems, ERP systems, or other data sources. 

  • Backup and Recovery: Assist in managing backup procedures and recovery mechanisms to safeguard the organization's data. 

  • Update and Upgrade Management: Monitor and test new Pricefx releases or updates, coordinating the implementation with minimal disruption. 

  • Documentation: Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge is shared and retained within the team. 

  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for any issues that arise, liaising with Pricefx support if necessary. 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong foundational knowledge in software administration and potentially some basics of databases. 

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and diagnose problems, finding solutions in a systematic manner. 

  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise with team members and potentially clients. 

  • Detail-Oriented: Accurate documentation and careful attention to platform configurations are essential. 

  • Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with different teams and departments to achieve common goals. 

  • Proactiveness: Be on the lookout for potential issues or inefficiencies, and suggest improvements. 

  • Adaptability: As software platforms continually evolve, being able to quickly adapt and learn new features or methodologies is vital. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.


  • Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
